This project explored techniques for drawing highlights and shadows in the wrinkles of fabric. The shirt was arranged on a vertical board with a light source on one side.
The pencil rendition was drawn directly from the reference. The outline was transferred to a new sheet by Lightbox, and the remaining details were added using a nib pen and India ink.
